Only a Kiss away
As beautiful as nightfall
quiet as morning dew
powerful as a thunderstorm
blazing as the afternoon sun-
This love
between you and me,
only a kiss away.
Your voice like music
your letters like desire
that I answer to with lust and temptation.
Time like hope and anticipation
impatience like endless waiting
to be no more
a kiss away.

Roots
I've planted my roots
not in a place, or country
but in the love of my life.
My seeds are nurtured
in faith and trust;
I can see the tree fully grown,
alive with hopes and dreams
in the eyes of you.
My roots are embedded
together with yours
no matter where they may be.
After a long search
here in you, I have found
a home I call my own.

Little Bird
Like a Gypsy I wander,
from town to town.
Never staying very long,
always leaving soon after.
Leaving behind nothing, or
leaving behind everything.
It's a risk I feel obliged,
or privileged to take upon me.
Maybe I lose nothing,
maybe I have much to lose-
but hopefully I will gain:
a new bright opportunity, or
a once missed chance.
Such are the obstacles awaiting me...
I shouldn't hesitate
I should just keep on walking...

True Love
My dearest love,
the hero of my heart,
I am forever yours.
I wish that eternity will be truly ours
to master and achieve together,
for there is nothing more I would want
than to be with you.
This love we have found
is beyond anything I have ever hoped for
longed for,
dreamed of.
I have never been happier
than when you smile at me;
because I love you.

Sheltered
I look for your affection
like a stranger with no place to stay,
your embrace like a fortress
I take in for shelter.
Your words can ease the weight
of a day's load-
sometimes too heavy.
Your touch alights a torch of hope
inside me, burning vividly.
To you, I surrender myself completely
dissolving;
to a mere drop of water
in an endless ocean.
I turn to you
with everything I could have-
I choose you,
I choose me.
Ultimately, I favor us together.

Humble Words of Love
Sometimes words, even to a poet
may sometimes, be not enough;
sufficient to express magnificent emotions
felt at times like these,
when we are together.
What is one to do now, when
even the simplest form of communication
cannot praise the beauty of your touch?
Dark pools as eyes
where all eternity rests peacefully.
Your kiss heals me,
recovering from betrayed lust
that have hurt and scarred my heart.
Your flawless ability to make me laugh and smile
is a gift I treasure so much,
or the way you glance at me
pounds my heart to skip.
I lather in a bath of embrace
with which you baptize me.
Born anew, born to Love.
So pardon me, for this but humble trial of words unsuitable
to justify the feelings I hold for you.
Lost without words, undress me naked.
Naked I am not, for there is you
Dressing me with the warmest blanket of your emotions.
I hold you cherished in my heat
for how ever long forever may take.
And I thank you.
