Country: Australia

The battlefield of ...ME.

Upon the battlefield of "Me";
life's armies there have fought,
their wars I've worn,
their burdens born,
yet victors of me?

Naught!

Change Never Changes.

Some things never change
even though you try your hardest
some things never change,
even though you cry your loudest
from intrinsic aching pains,
still, some things don't change.

Some things never change,
throw your heart out in the open
(a token broken)
disarranged,
yet, unchanged.

Toss your insides out
and laugh upon a path of doubt,
daydream undertakings,
crave 'till quite insane,
try again ,
then try again
up a hill of pain
(swim the rain)
again, again, then again,
some things never change.

Ragged broken mess,
never satisfied with less
(life's a test.)

Change?

Couldn't,

wouldn't...too insane!

(Some things

NEVER

change!)
