I wanted so much more for the first time in my life
A freedom to simply feel
I wanted to soak up happiness and beauty and love
and just for one little time,
You did the impossible
You made me believe I was real
You unlocked the door, and gave me the most precious gift
Every broken place, you did heal
You said "yes", taste life like it's the best chocolate ice cream ever
I remember the taste of it, still
There are so many things I would give my life up to change
I wish I could tell you, but I know,
I never will
I just wish you knew,
I just wish you knew...
because you are the only one who ever touched me, the one who made me real
